The Amos King Barn, part of the original Leaman Farm, dates back to the 1800's. Used as a Tobacco Barn, when acquired by the Inn was deemed beyond repair. However, our Chef/Owner Architectural Firms, known for their 30 years of Historic Renovations, believed otherwise.
After several years of multiple renovations by local craftsmen, we are pleased to provide the present with a little of the past in what we call the elegant rusticity of the Amos King Barn.
Our guests comment on how they enjoy the tapping of the rain on the roof while relaxing in the oversized whirlpools.
From the vaulted ceiling to the exposed beams, the original barn floor laced with area rugs and oversized antique furnishings, our guests have deemed this building as their overall favorite.
