What Chef John Calabrese strives to create in TÈ is the ultimate expression of what a formal Italian restaurant should be. The menu is a convergence of the various regional styles and culinary experiences found throughout Italy.
Our staff works continuously to create an ambiance filled with the warmth, buoyancy, and light heartedness of the Italian spirit.
Your dinner at TÈ will be a journey of refined Italian cuisine, accompanied by a series of chef's welcomes and intermezzos. In the end, we hope to have tantalized your palate, enlightened your eyes, and leave your appetite comfortably satisfied.
Some chefs and food critics call it farm to table, others the slow food movement. We at TÈ call it simply practical. Our restaurant is located in the center of some of the richest farmland in the world.
We gather seasonal ingredients from our Amish neighbors, as well as other offerings from our on-site organic vegetable and herb gardens. Micro greens and winter herbs come from our own organic greenhouse. Specialty ingredients are secured through top of the line purveyors that supply some of the finest restaurants in the country. Our specialty Italian ingredients arrive from Italy daily, with cheese being imported from France. Breads, pastas, gelatos and desserts are made fresh daily by our pastry chefs, using one hundred percent natural ingredients.
Our vegetarian menus are also offered on a daily basis. A special menu may also be designed to address other dietary concerns. Ingredients used in our recipes change seasonally, therefore the menu's shown are provided as samples only.
The Inn's three acres of flower and vegetable gardens allow TE a truly unique "garden to table" dining experience for our guests. The gardens were designed with a series of linear walking paths amidst the 100% organic vegetables, edible flowers and herbs.
Espaliered 100% organic fruit trees adorn the bead board fences along the paths. Cisterns of rainwater collections provide an inviting green approach to the watering of the gardens. Our gardners are always excited when harvesting seasonal bounty for our chefs. We are always delighted to have our guests visit the gardens, and find repose in the beauty of nature.
The entire dining room of TÈ is available for private dinner parties for up to twenty-four people. Enoteca, our wine cellar located adjacent to TÈ, is available for parties of up to sixteen people.
Centrally located inside our kitchen near a cozy fireplace, our Chef's table can accommodate up to six guests. This is the perfect spot for a romantic and private dinner for two or a celebration for six. You can be as much a part of the action going on around you as you like.
Private dining areas are available seven days a week.
